The bridesmaids dresses are full-length, Christmas red, trimmed in black w/black satin ribbon flowing down the full length of the back of dress. Would dyeable shoes to match dress be more appropriate or black shoes to coordinate with trim. Do you feel that dyeable shoes are antiquated and out-of-date by today's standards?

Congratulations on your upcoming wedding! The black shoes for bridesmaids would be an excellent solution: 1) they will coordinate with the trim of the dress for an elegant look and 2) this way, they will be able to use the shoes again and again!
