I am getting married in Januaryand my wedding colors are fucshia black and white. The dresses are satin with a satin ribbon around the waist. I want the junior bridesmaids in fucshia dress with a white bow and the bridesmaids in a black dress with a white bow. The tuxedos are also white. I'm not a dress person so I guess this is why I am having so much trouble trying to figure out what would look white. Everyone is saying that the black dresses won't look right.

Black is becoming more and more popular for bridesmaids' dresses in formal Winter weddings. The choice of colors sounds very elegant, and the dresses will be accentuated by a contrasting bow. Go for it and enjoy the wedding! Irina Feygin, IMpeccable iMage, Inc. Image and Beauty and For Princess Bride
I agree that your color choices sound very appropriate and striking. The white sash on the dress will soften the black and compliment the color scheme. Nancy Tucker President of Weddings Beautiful US http://www.weddingsbeautiful.com
Three's a charm. I couldn't agree more. Black isn't associated with anything negative any more. Plus, it looks so nice on most of us. Rebecca Black, Etiquette Now
