     Bridemaids shoes

My bridemaids with be wearing cornflower blue dress for my June wedding. I have thought about having them wear cornflower dyed shoes or silver.

I asked my MOH her opinion and she told me she will be spraypainting some shoes she already has. She says when will I ever wear silver shoes. This really hurts my feelings. My other bridemaids have not responded this way. The others are very positive and are leaving the decision up to me.

I need some advice on what to do or say to my MOH.

Dear Kmn,

Personally, I think silver shoes are a very good choice and useful. But, I also think that this isn't a huge deal and best to just let it go. People do and say things for a variety of reasons that we don't know. She could be experiencing something that would cause her to be a bit negative right now. So, smile and move on. You could let her know that if her shoes don't match the others, she may stand out, though, and that you would hate for her to feel embarrassed.

Best wishes,
