I am wearing a champagne and ivory colored gown. My bridesmaids are all African-American with color ranging from mocha to chocolate. What color do you suggest will make them stand out from myself, and yet compliment their coloring? My wedding colors are cream and ivory. Do wedding colors have anything to do with bridal party colors?
What is the best styles for a petite bridesmaid with an ample chest? A voluptous bridesmaid? And a bridesmaid who is heavy? This is an evening wedding with formal style.

Hello Denea:
It all depends on the color of your wedding gown. If it will primarily be champagne, then it's best that your bridesmaids go with ivory colored bridesmaids dresses. Or, if your gown is mostly ivory, than your bridesmaids will look wonderful with a champagne colored dress.
Another great idea is to order a dress that has a white accent, so that your bridesmaids can match with you. For instance, you can find a style that is primarily burgundy or champagne colored, but has a white accent underneath.
Wedding colors and bridal party colors don't always have to be the same. As the bride, you are free to do arrange your wedding in any way you'd like.
The best style for a petite bridesmaid with an ample chest would be halter. For a bridesmaid with a large chest, strapless dresses are perfect. And for a bridesmaid that is heavy, go with simple spaghetti strap dresses and/or strapless would also be best. Liz C. of BridalSassique.com http://www.bridalsassique.com

If your bridal party consists of women in varying sizes and shapes, the A-Line dress seems to work best for all body types. Top Wedding Questions Forum Moderator - "Write your sorrows in the sand, your blessings in stone".
