     Can he see?

I was wondering if my fiancee was allowed to see a picture of my wedding dress. I picked it out offline, and he wanted to see it, but I have heard so many different stories about this. "He is allowed to see the picture of it, but he isnt allowed to see you in it", and I heard that he isnt allowed to see it at all. So, if anyone could give me advice, I would greatly appreciate it.

Well, what you're referring to is the old superstition that says it's bad luck for the groom to see his bride in her wedding dress before the actual wedding. Personally, I don't believe in luck, good or bad, but that's something you have to decide for yourself.

Now, in regard to your groom seeing the dress or pictures of the dress before the wedding... again, totally up to you. However, please consider how the effect of seeing you in your gown for the first time will be diminished for your groom if he sees the dress before hand. There is something to be said for the element of surprise. You may not want to rob your groom, or you, of that life-long lasting memory.
