I am getting married in September of this year, and I am using the fall colors. The wedding is outside in front of a covered bridge.
I was thinking of having my bridesmaids wear chocolate brown dresses (since they are becoming so popular) and carrying "wine" (burgundy) colored flowers. My question is, how will the girls in their dresses look next to the guys in their black tuxes? Also, what color should I go with for the guys vests and ties, chocolate or wine???
Has anyone else ever used these colors? If so, how did they look? The chocolate brown is a very pretty shimmery brown (it is actually called hazelnut). Should I change my girls' dresses to the wine color, and if so, what color should I use for the flowers?
I have to get my dresses ordered within the next 2 weeks and I am so torn.
Thank You!!!

Dear Harleygirl,
Many a bride has used these colors. The best accessory color for the guys is black. Chocolate does not exist as a vest color.

Dear Harleygirl,
I too am using chocolate "Brown" as my bridesmaids dresses. My theme evolves around my soon to be new last name...Brown. I am using Burnt orange as my match for fall colors for my flowers with a touch of berries and yellow. Since I have five ladies, I will have an every other color of chocolate and latte. I have also kept gold in mind to be a good match. David Bridals has a vest that matches the chocolate theme very well. It is a match to their Latte dress. It is Chocolate and latte, very pretty colors for the vest. My husband to be is also wearing black, however the lapels are chocolate. Sooooo, good luck. My wedding is October 29, 2005. I hope we can share more Chocolate ideas. I have some very good ones for wedding favors.
