For what expenses are the bridemaids responsible to pay? I know they pay for their dress, but do they pay for the own hair, make-up, shoes, ect? I'm asking because a family member is making the dresses, so, with that, and if they were to pay for their own hair, make-up, shoes, I've worked it out to be about $300. The way I see it they're lucky because some bridesmaids' dresses alone can cost that much!!!

The bridesmaids will typically pay for their attire including dress, shoes, jewelry, hair, makeup, etc. It's terrific that you have a family member making their dresses to offset that cose.
