     Matching bridemaids dresses

I've just been asked to be a bridesmaid. Knowing who the other bridemaids are, I anticipate a huge disparity in dress choices. Our Chrissy is a "girly-girl" not afraid of cleavage and bare shoulders, while I am more conservative and contemporary in style. If the dress color and shoes match, is it apropriate for different styles on each bridesmaid?

It can be appropriate to have different styles for maid of honor, matron of honor and bridesmaids but this will be the choice of the bride. Please defer to her. Hopefully, she will understand the needs of all of the women and take them into consideration when selecting the bridesmaids' dresses.
