I just found out that my maid of honor will be 8 months pregnant at the time of the wedding. We have already bought the bridesmaid dresses and chosen the color. My MOH is not worried about not being able to return the dress she already bought, but we do need to find a new one. The place where we bought the first dress does not have the same color in any of their maternity dresses.
Should I try to color match the same color, latte, at a different store or do I just pick a whole different color for her (maybe red), and then accent that color in the best man and groom's tux and with my flowers. But, this choice means that she will need new shoes also (which I would just let her get whatever is comfortable being she would be 8 months pregnant).
Thoughts? Thank you!

I applaud your attitude toward the wonderful event that is coming up in your friend's life. You are both very lucky to have such a supportive and loving friend. I love the way the two of you are so flexible.
Now, on to your problem. The word latte can mean an array of varying colors so, if you mean some sort of shade of brown, I'm not sure about the red. I would try softer colors like pink, peach or baby blue, but it really depends on your "shade". Get a swatch of the fabric and take your friend shopping to select a dress which will coordinate well with your shade or search ion the internet. many online shops will allow you to send in a swatch so they can match them up. When making this purchase always check the contract and return policy. Top Wedding Questions Forum Moderator - "Write your sorrows in the sand, your blessings in stone".

I totally agree: 1) you are a wonderful friend and 2) you should avoid introducing the red color.
Try to find an appropriate dress in the same color family as the other dresses, but maybe a shade or twor darker. This way, your bridesmaids will look good together as a group; your Maid of Honor will not feel uncomfortable wearing red (which always stands out WAY too much); she will look distinctively as a Maid of Honor in a slightly different shade of dress and most importantly, she doesn't have to change the color of her shoes, because the dress will be in the same color family!
