     Mixing fabrics for bridesmaids dresses

Hello!

I love the idea of mixing things up for each bridesmaid, so I was planning to let them wear different styles and just accent the maid and matron of honor with bouquets. Just wondering though, would some all-satin dresses be terrible with some all-chiffon dresses? What if at least one or two has both satin and chiffon? Thanks.

Congratulations on your upcoming wedding! You can use the different styles for the dresses of same color, or different colors for the same style dresses. Both solutions are very popular these days. However, the type of fabric should be at least compatible; if you use such different types as chiffon and satin, it would not look good in photographs. It might only work if the dresses are of the same color; in that case, the difference in fabrics could look interesting. Other than that, you might chose a different solution. Enjoy the wedding!
