Modest bridesmaids dresses in small to plus sizes

I'm having two problems finding bridesmaids dresses for my three bridesmaids & maid of honor. The first is that modesty is very important to me. My dress will have a modest neckline and cover my shoulders and I want my bridesmaids' dresses to do the same. (I'm willing to use a jacket to deal with the shoulders issue as long as the neckline is high enough, and the girls like the feel of the chiffon bolero-type jackets they've tried on.)

The second is that my bridesmaids are a wide varity of sizes. They range from a size 4 barely-A cup to a size 30 DD-cup. I'm having a hard time finding a flattering style for all. The bridal shops I've visited rarely carry above 26 in their plus lines.

What should I do?

Your best option is "mix & match" separates in the same color/fabric. There are bolero jackets and separates so your bridal party will be coordinated in the same matching color with different style outfits to match every figure, plus the jacket takes care of the modesty issue. Good luck!

Great suggestion! And, bravo! It is refreshing to hear of someone considering less revealing attire. Many are flaunting cleavage these days. It's difficult for guests to focus on the event with such obvious distractions. Wink
