Paying for made of honor's dress

Is it appropriate for the bride (second wedding) to offer to pay for MOH's dress?

As long as you are paying for all attendant's dresses that would be appropriate and very generous. Note that the bride isn't obligated to pay for the dresses for her bridal party, though.
