I have decided to let my bridesmaids pick the styles of their dresses, they will all have different dresses and some of some of them are tea length, a couple of them are full lenth and one at the knee., the will be the same color of course. My sister is afraid that the different lengths will look bad in pictures. Some of my friends told me that alot of bride's are doing this. Most of the girls have different body types and it would have been difficult to get 7 girls in the same dress. Do you think it would look odd in pictures?

Dear Sweetpea,
The problem really could be with the level of formality. Not that formality is all about length, but it is part of the equation. So, it is best that all of their dresses are the same length and formality.
