     Should my Bridesmaids wear Hose?

I am going for a summer themed wedding and having my bridesmaids wear sundresses for the wedding. As part of this I have asked them to go barefoot in the church and at the reception. To add to the uniformity, I would like them to wear nude hose. Is this an unreasonable request?

Asking the bridesmaids to go barefoot has many ramifications including possible injury. It could also be unsanitary and may not be approved by your church. I would suggest getting a sandal or even a flip-flop. But, in either case, no hose should be worn if the shoe is open toed.
