Where can I find 1950's style bridesmaids dresses, nj

Hi I'm getting married next September and I'm trying to pull off a vintage chic decor. The one problem I keep running into is that I'm dying to find 1950's style bridesmaid dresses, with the teacup bottoms and inset waist and the only ones that I find are actually vintage and I can't match them? Does anyone know where we can ourchase such dresses? If I get them custom made is it going to cost an arm and leg?

The majority of the bridesmaid designers do not have vintage style dresses available but Watters and Watters does carry some dresses that have a brocade fabric that you may want to look into.
Custom dresses will have a variation in pricing (depending on how complicated the pattern is as well as fabric quality) but this may be the best alternative for you since you already have a vision in mind. Just make sure that you find a seamstress that has experience in formal wear and bring pictures to clearly demonstrate what type of dress you are going for.
