My wedding is in January and I am looking for bridesmaidsdresses but right now all I can find is strapless and thin strap dresses. What would be appropriate dresses for bridesmaids in Winter?

I suggest you resume your search by end of August. There will be dresses more appropriate for winter, with wider straps, V-neck, halters etc. You might want to also check out major department stores, such as Macy's and Lord & Taylor : they always have reasonably priced evening dresses suitable for bridesmaids. Thanks, also the colors are purple and gold should I have one girl wear gold the next purple...etc or should I just have all bridesmaids one color and the MOH another?
