My partner and I are getting married in one year and are struggling with attire. It is a outside, an early afternoon wedding in mid September. My partner is wearing a very a beautiful dress, I believe I will wear a suit, (no tie.) My question is, both our parties are mixed, male and females, gay and straight. Some don't want to wear dresses and some do. My Partner does not want anyone taking away attention from what I am wearing, but I do want the parties to match. Whether my side is matching or both sides are matching together. We don't know what to do. It's not formal but it is not casual either. Where can we buy clothes for both sexes that match in color? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

I would think you would dress the attendants the same as you would for a straight wedding. Buy dresses all the same for anyone who wants to wear a dress and select suits for the remaining attendants that will coordinate with the color of the "bridesmaids" dresses and suit you are wearing.
