     brides maids dress

I want my bridesmaids to wear blue. I don't know what kind of theme to use so that I can use blue in the rest of the wedding.

Themes are not essential for weddings, but if you WANT a theme you can surely have one. I don't think I could suggest a theme just based on your bridesmaids dress color though. Please consider, not only color, but season, place, style of wedding, time of day, formality of the wedding, and your personal likes and dislikes.

Alice in Wonderland wore blue - perhaps you can use a "Wonderland" theme.

You can have a color theme instead. (Like baby blue & ivory).

You may include that information on the invitations so your guest will have an idea of the color(s) you'll be having at your wedding. Make your invitations light blue as well.

Many brides choose not to go with a "theme" for their wedding, but rather they choose 2-3 colors to make up their wedding style.
