Is it appropriate for the bridesmaides to wear black? I've never seen them in black before, and what about length? What are your opinions on a black chiffon knee-length dress that slants down to the ankle?

What time of day is your wedding and what level of formaility?

Personally I think black is a great choice! My best friend is getting married soon, and her bridesmaids will all wear black with a brightly coloured sash around the waist. It's practical because black is a colour you can wear again! (Unlike most bridesmaid dresses you end up with...)

I completely agree. Black is a great color for bridesmaids.

Black looks good on everyone, and you can dress it up or down with accessories. Also a bridesmaid is more likely to wear a black dress again, so the dress has life after the big day. It's also easy on them because everyone owns black shoes.

I'm sure your bridesmaids will be very happy with your decision.
