chocolate brown bridesmaid dress go with black tux?

I am getting married in October and my colors are chocolate brown and pale (like sky) blue. My fiance wants a black tuxedo. How can I coordinate that with those 2 colors and will one be easier than the other? Will black go okay with chocolate or should I try to convince him to change his mind? If he will change his mind, what should he choose? This is my first wedding and I don't have a lot of experience or anyine from whom I can get advice. I would really appreciate any advice you could give me.

Thanks so much,

Brooke

Dear Brooke,

I'm not the expert on style. But, I can pipe in about the tux. It is formal evening attire. So, hopefully yours is an evening wedding.

To me, the colors are fine.

Best wishes,

Dear Brooke,

Here is an easy way to keep your fiancee happy while making the entire bridal party look well color-coordinated. Have your fiancee wear pale blue bow tie and vest to coordinate with the bridal party, and incorporate same pale blue color into the flowers, including the butonierre for the groom. This way, he'll get to wear what he wants, while the entire bridal party will look fantastic in photos! Enjoy the wedding!
