color of girls dresses- vs -theme

I am having a winter wonderland theme for my wedding. This will be done mostly through color (varying shades of blue as well as silver). The problem is, I found the most beautiful dresses for the bridesmaids in hunter green. Can I get away with this or do the girls dresses need to be blue?

Congratulations on your upcoming wedding! Sounds like the wedding you are planning is going to be a very elegant event! Which means that perhaps you should look for a different shade of bridesmaids' dresses...Not necessarily they have to be blue: you can use silvery or irredecent shades of Violet, Lilac, and, well-Silver - any "cool" color. Regretfully, Hunter Green is not one of them...Keep looking, and I am sure you will find just the right dresses for your bridesmaids in the shade that will compliment your "Winter Wonderland" theme and will make your wedding an unforgettable affair!
