We are having an 11:30 wedding in early June, followed by a jazz brunch reception. We want an elegant simplicity, without being too formal --- the men will be wearing suits, not tuxes. I love tulips and gerber daises, and want my flowers to be either pinks and purples or mangoes and ivories. My question is this -- what color bridesmaid dresses? I'm thinking navy blue, or chocolate brown -- A line and tea length. Are these colors too dark for a morning, spring wedding? I can't stand pastels, and my friends have a variety of complexions and haircolors. Help!

Congratulations on your upcoming wedding! Both the chocolate brown and navy are beautiful choices for a morning spring wedding and definitely not too dark.
