floor length bridesmaids dresses for an evening wedding
I have finally chosen a color for my bridesmaid dresses. After everyone has hounded me for about a year I have decided to go with black satin, silver trim floor length gowns, but my matron of honor does not want to have to wear something floor length. Please help! P.S. the wedding is in the evening

Dear Jeana,
This is a difficult one since she shouldn't be dressed less formally than your other attendants. Perhaps she would be happy with a gown with an uneven hem line, so it appears full length. Other than that, she really should be dressed in the same formality as the others.
Oh! Just a thought. The dresses could be formal in a sense and shorter. Perhaps you can find dresses that suit the formality of your wedding and are shorter.
