My MOH informed me that she has bought a dress for the wedding. Not only did I have no idea she was doing this it doesn't work at all. The color & material are off. Not sure how to handle this one. Can anyone please offer any advice to help me with this delicate situation?

This is the perfect time to take her aside and politely inform her of whose wedding it really is and what her duties really are. It is nice that she wants to assume responsibilities. But, you are supposed to choose the dresses and to schedule dates for choosing them.
Most likely if you don't regain control now, this could escalate. So, it is probably best to do this now. She may not even know that she is doing anything wrong. She may think that this is her duty as MOH.
