sandals or shoes for fall wedding

I am not sure if I want my bridesmaids to wear sandals or shoes for my Fall wedding. My wedding is on 9/18 it is a 2 pm mass. Are sandals out because it is after labor day?

Sandals can be worn any time of year but you may want to consider what the weather might be like. You haven't mentioned where you are living but I would guess that most places are not cold enough in Spetember to be worried about the feet not being protected from the cold or snow. There is no etiquette rule against wearing sandals after labor day.

I am in New England and the weather could go either way.

That would be your call but don't we ladies usually choose beauty over comfort? Wink Ask the bridesmaids in the party their opinion.
