sister in law is being a bridezilla

I do not know how to handle my sister in law. I agreed to be in her wedding thinking that this would bring us closer however I think that this wedding could be what breaks up the whole family. She has already admitted that she doesn't want any of the bridesmaid dresses to look flattering on us so that it does not draw attention away from her.She even wants me to wear the dress a size to big so I don't look "curvy".Mad Next she took me aside and told me that she was very happy that I lost all that weight because she was very worried about me being in her pictures. (I just had a baby 7 months ago.) I was so shocked that I couldn't even respond. Recently she is getting worse and worse. How do I put an unruly bride in her place and still keep peace in the family? Please any advice would be wonderful!

Dear Sis in Law,

Typically I suggest for everyone to be honest and speak up politely. However, I don't see a way to deal with her politely because she is behaving so badly. I doubt that any thing you say will be understood. Most likely, you will be seen as the rude, elitist bridesmaid. So, I suppose you will just have to keep quiet and look forward to the end of this event.

Try and distance yourself.

Best wishes,
