We are getting married in June, 2008 and are having difficulty choosing colors. This will be an outdoor ceremony and a sort of rustic indoor reception....very casual and informal. The guys will be wearing black suits and my dress is ivory. My fiance really would like burnt orange (UT colors) but I'm not sure if that would work for a summer outdoor wedding. We also both love red or pool blue.
Any suggestions on how to make the burnt orange work would be appreciated. Or should we go with another color?
If your fiancee likes the Burnt Orange color so much, why not go for it? It can be reflected in groomsmen ties and/or vests, and if you won't find bridesmaids' dresses in that exact color, you can incorporate it into the bridesmaids' bouquets. Enjoy!
