Both my 8 and 11 year old daughters will be the "hostesses" at my brothers 5 pm wedding in July with a reception to follow afterwards at a nice country club. We will be included in some pictures, as well. The bride is wearing an off-white dress and her only bridesmaid will be in a green, kiwi colored dress. The best man will have a tux with a kiwi colored vest. My question is what should my daughters wear since they're not really "in" the wedding? I assume they shouldn't match the bridesmaid? I've asked the bride her thoughts and she's pretty open to anything "nice". I bought my 8 year old a cream and bright pink dress and my 11 year old has a bright pink dress both suitable for a nice restaurant. I'm a little concerned the pink might be too much for pictures, though. The color is not pastel but not a crazy neon or fuschia, either. I guess I would describe it more like the color "carnation" in a box of crayons. Please help!! Thank you.

Dear Avincent,
Pink would be great as long as it isn't too bright. But, this seems fine to me.
