     Girl Ring Bearer Outfit

What would you have a girl ring bearer wear? We don't want to put her in a tux. We don't want her to look like the flower girls either. Does anyone have any ideas or pics of what we should do. Our colors are black, white and red.

Why isn't this little girl the flower girl? I've never seen a girl in this role although I suppose she could simply wear what a typical flower girl would wear.

I'm assuming you've chosen a girl ring bearer because you didn't have a boy to fill the role and wanted to give her an honored responsibility. (?) I have not seen a girl in this role, but if you want her to be distinct from the flower girls, you could put her in a different color dress that coordinates nicely.

Could she not serve as another flower girl? You aren't required to have a ring bearer. Alternative roles are one thing for adults choosing to fill them, but there may be unintended stigma attached to designating a little girl as a ring bearer. It's just a thought.

I agree that she could wear the same attire as a flower girl. She is a girl, after all. A different color or something that distinguishes her from the flower girl is a great idea.

But, I do agree that all of these roles are optional and not absolutely necessary.

we have 2 flower girls already. My son is too old to be a ring bearer and fiancee has a friend that is one of her bridesmaids, she has a little boy. But my point is I should get to pick who I want on my side of the wedding and I don't know the little boy as well as I know my buddies girl. I am like her uncle as it is and he is my best man.

Roles are becoming more and more unisex. So, there really is no reason this person couldn't be a girl. But, dress her as one. And, yes, you do get to choose your attendants.

I do agree, though, that there are perceptions of this role being held by a boy. So, you may have that aspect.
