I was asked by my fiance's mother if she could make the flower girl dresses for our daughters for the wedding. My mother already bought them, so I told her it was too late. So she asked if she could make bonnets to go with the dresses. As nicely as I could I told her the girls don't look good in bonnets and I was taking them to get their hair done anyway. She stopped by the other night to measure their heads and said she was almost done with the bonnets. How do I tell her without hurting her feelings that I already said no and they won't be wearing the bonnets at the wedding?

Dear Bride,
It may be best for her son to speak to her. Hopefully he can help her understand without hurt feelings.
