My ring bearer is 5 but he looks a little older. I wanted him to wear the tux with the shorts but I was unsure if he was too old or too tall. Mostly I have seen 2 and 3 year old boys with the shorts but I love them!

The ringer bearer shouldn't be 2 or 3. That is much too young. But, the Eton suit is traditional and is perfect for a formal wedding. It would be fine for a boy this age.
