My daughter is getting married in July. I found a dress that I absolutely love, but the color is aubergine. I am wondering if this color is too dark for a July wedding. My daughter loves the dress. It also comes in a champagne color with silver beading, but the color of the beading on the aubergine dress is so pretty and adds so much to the dress. The beads are in the purple/green/gold hues. My daughter is wearing white. The bridesmaids will be wearing tea length black chiffon and the flowers are in the pinks, greens, and whites. I should add the church ceremony begins at 1:30 and the ballroom reception will begin at 4:30.

Congratulations on your daughter's wedding! If the bridesmaids are wearing as dark a color as black, you can absolutely go for aubergine, especially if you love the color so much and your daughter loves the dress as well! Enjoy the wedding!
