Can MOG wear winter white suit to Mormon wedding reception
My son is a newly converted Mormon and marrying a devout Mormon. My husband, older son, and i will not be allowed to attend the actual wedding ceremony as it will take place in the Mormon Temple, however, we will celebrate afterwards with the wedding party and dinner. I want to wear my favorite winter white suit, knee length skirt, very tailored. The party and dinner will be at 5:00 PM. The bride will be wearing a party dress, knee length, champagne color with black lace as wedding dresses are not allowed during the actual ceremony. MOB is wearing a powder blue knee length dress with a black jacket. There are no bridesmaids or groomsmen. Thank you

Dear LLovell,
I would ask the mother of the bride about this. It appears fine to me, as long as it doesn't appear to be an outfit that could be worn as wedding attire. It just might though. Many older brides wear such an outfit.
