My son is getting married in July, evening wedding. The bridesmaids' dresses are black, strapless with a band of white at the top. I went to a wedding last year involving the same colors and the MoB & MoG wore black skirts with both tops in a floral and patterened black and white--very elegant, etc. My son's fiance said her mother (MoB) has picked out a red dress. What am I supposed to do now? I was planning to wear a black dress or a black skirt with a white and black top?

Re: [cp] Coordinate MoB and MoG with Bridesmaids dresses

You can still wear black and white if you would like to coordinate with the bridal party. Adding a bit of red with your accessories might be a nice touch. It's never a bad idea to ask the bride her thoughts on color coordinating the mothers with the bridal party.
