My son will be married in late October in the Chicago area. It will be a formal evening event, with the wedding taking place at 6:00 pm and the reception to follow. The bride is wearing an ivory silk gown, maid of honor in sienna, best man and fathers of bride and groom in tuxedos.
The mother of the bride is currently preparing to make an out of state move and will be purchasing a long gown at a later date, most likely at the last minute. My future daughter in law has suggested that I not wait for her mother to purchase a gown. She believes that her mother will either choose a chocolate brown or bronze colored gown. Do you have any suggestions on a gown color for me that will not clash with the sienna color of the maid of honor nor the possible chocolate brown or bronze for the mother of the bride? Would champagne be appropriate or should I go with a deeper tone? I have olive skin tones and light brown hair. Thanks for your help.

Champagne color will be perfect! It will go beautifully with all the other colors of the wedding and will look great in photos. Go for it and enjoy the wedding! Irina Feygin - IMpeccable iMage, inc. http://www.image-and-beauty.com and For Princess Bride.com http://www.forprincessbride.com
