Dress for mother of the bride

My sister is getting married in June @ 1:00 pm in an outdoor ceremony in a park. Her colors are red & creme. My mom is at a loss as to what to wear. Any suggestions??

Dear Sis,

There are so many colors that compliment red. But, many mothers are wearing black (probably not something she would want to wear outside during the day, but she could), silver, platinum, and Champagne (these are very similar and very popular because they go with just about everything). She could just take a sample of the red to the store also and choose something that compliments the color and her.

Her dress or pant suit should be in the same formality as the bridesmaids' dresses. If she wears a dress, hers should be the same length.

Best wishes,
