I tried on a dress at a local bridal salon and my daughter, the maid of honor and salon sales people said it would be appropriate. It's a champagne color with spagehetti straps, floor length, small train, with some beading on the bodice. It can be form but fitting but I'm not planning on having it taken in that much. It also has a slit that comes just above the knee. I am very petite (about a size 0) so its hard to find a dress that doesn't drown me. I am planning on wearing a wrap/jacket all night and I am very conservative when it comes to hair/makeup/accessories. The bridesmaids are wearing strapless, floor length, cranberry color. It is a January wedding.

Re: [Barb2] Is my MOB dress appropriate?

Dear Barb2,
As long as the wedding is a formal evening wedding, this is fine. Beading is evening wear, plus this dress is very formal.
