My daughter is getting married in September. The bridal party is wearing strapless cocktail dresses. The bride is also wearing a strapless gown. I have chosen a cocktail dress with thin straps.
Is this appropriate?

Dear Pammy,
Mothers dresses should be conservative. Thin straps aren't usually conservative. If you are very small busted, you might not have a problem. But, most likely this is not an appropriate dress for a mother.
