Are MOB and MOG allowed to wear the same coloured dress? They've both bought dresses of similar colour, and the bride and MOB are not happy that MOG bought a dress of similar colour.

Dear Groom,
Many times if black is chosen by the bride for her attendants, the mothers will also wear it. But, that really is the only color the mothers would wear that is the same. They should wear different colors. If the MOG's dress is not exactly the same color, it should be fine though. It doesn't matter if it is 'almost' the same.
