MOB and MOG in same colour?

Is it ok for the MOB to wear chocolate brown and the MOG to wear light brown (cream mocha)?

I have attached images of the 2 dresses? Do they clash?

Your help is appreciated.

Thanks

Ben (a very stressed groom!)

No, the dresses look lovely and they absolutely do not clash. It's O.K. to wear dresses in the same color family, as long as it's not exactly the same shade and not the same exact fabric. Enjoy the wedding!

I completely agree. But, the problem I see is that one of the dresses is strapless. Mothers don't reveal that much skin. Strapless gowns are a no-no.
