I'm not sure which way to go - the MOB has chosen a formal Tuxedo Pant Suit. The bride is wearing a formal ivory gown, the groom and ushers are in tuxes. The wedding is at 5pm. The bridesmaids are in black tea length dresses. Flowers are hot pink. What would be a good style and possible color for the MOG to wear?
You might want to wear an elegant pant suit as well. Sicne the hot pink color is present in the color scheme (flowers), you might opt for the same color for your suit, but with black detailing, such as: embroidery/or shoes-purse/or jacket. Other colors you might consider: fuschia, lavender, soft pink. In any case, black accessories or embroidery will enhance your outfit and "tie" it with the colors of the bridal party, where a lot of black color is being used. If you are not comfortable with the idea of a pant suit, wear a column dress with bolero jacket. Color combination, however, should remain same. Enjoy the wedding!
