MOB decided to wear long black gown to 7 pm outdoor wedding at end of August. Bridesmaids are wearing long black dresses, groomsmen are wearing black tuxes. Should MOG also wear a long black dress? I don't want to stand out in the pictures! Thanks!

Normally, mothers do not dress in the same color. But, they don't normally dress in the same color as the bridesmaids either. It is a trend, a positive one I might add, for the bridesmaids and mothers to all wear black. I would suggest asking the bride if this is what she wishes.
