MOB wearing long dress while bridesmaids wear knee length
My daughter's wedding ceremony is outdoors in August, late afternoon. Bridemaid's dresses are knee length, fushia. I found a long dress with a jacket in light pink. MOG found a tea length dress with jacket in sea foam green.
Indoor evening reception.
Will the long dress be right for me?

Mother of the Groom is supposed to coordinate her outfit with you. It should be the same formality as your dress. The colors of your outfits should look beautiful together as described; the only thing that' left to coordinate is the length and formality of your dresses. Enjoy the wedding! Dear Deniseoc,
I agree. Your dress should be in the same formality as the bridesmaids. You two shouldn't dress more formal than them.
