The mother of the bride picked out a nice champagne colored dress with some detailing on the bodice. The mother of the groom has picked out a dress also in champagne color but with gold sequined flowers on the front. They are both the same length. Is it acceptable for both mothers to wear the same color?

Dear Sunflower Girl,
As long as the dresses are dissimilar in some way, it is fine. It would have been better if the MOG had picked out a dress with champagne in it, but this is not the case.
