My son will be married in September. It is a semi-formal evening ceremony with an indoor dinner/dance reception immediately following at the same location. Wedding colors are marigold & pewter (sunny yellow and silver) The bride's gown is full length strapless mermaid with crystal beading, bridesmaids are halter top, backless, knee length chiffon type flowery print of yellows, white and pewter. MOB is wearing tea length 3 piece; skirt, blouse & jacket with some beading, in a soft silvery pewter. What color, style and length would you suggest for MOG? I have a marathon shopping weekend planned soon. I'm leaning toward a sage green, but also considering a plum or gold. I'm totally confused. Can you help?

Gold tones, taupe with beading or bronze would look great with these color combination and will look good in photograph with the other colors you have mentioned. Enjoy the wedding! The length of your outfit should match the formality of MOB' dress. Therefore, tea length would be perfect, but if you feel comfortable with "just below the knee" length, that would also be appropriate. 2-piece outfit, such as dress with a nice bolero jacket or any other elegant style of jacket would be perfect.
