I am getting married in Jamaica this November. YEAH ! My dress is a formal Ivory gown. The bridesmaids are wearing long coral strapless dresses. The men are wearing ivory shirts with taupe dress pants. My mom needed help finding a dress and because most colours make her look gravely ill, she is very (very) limited to what looks great on her. As Navy is a sure colour, we ordered a beautiful classy floor length dress in the Alfred Angelo Navy. Now the MOG wants some guidance on what colour she should wear and I need the experts! She is limited as well to what looks good on her. Most blues are okay as well as pinks and ivory. Browns are not good for her. What would be the recommended colours to look for to tie this all together?

Re: MOG dress colour to compliment coral and navy

The best strategy would be to go for any other shade of blue that compliments her skin tone. Blue is a fantastic color and has very many shades and variations. She could go for light blue, or midnight blue, or powder blue - but there are hundreds of more shades available. Check with your local bridal salon and look at the swatches. Make sure you won't duplicate Mother of the Bride's color! Enjoy the wedding! Irina Feygin, IMpeccable iMage, Inc. Image and Beauty and For Princess Bride
