     MOG summer mountain wedding attire

I'm not real sure what I should be wearing to my son's wedding in July. Because he and his fiance are both in school and work a different shift than me, I don't talk to them very often. The wedding will be in a small chapel in the mountains of Tennessee in the afternoon. When I asked the bride what the wedding colors would be, she said she didn't have any but said they'd be carrying bouquets of Tennessee wild flowers so that would be the color scheme. I assumed that the wedding would be pretty informal so I started to make a plain beidgy sundress. Then last weekend, I went on an impromptu shopping trip with two other MOG's and everything they looked at was long and embellished with beads. I saw nothing at all like the type of dress I was making. It made me start thinking that maybe I should be wearing something more dressy. I've only met the mother of the bride a couple of times and don't know what she'll be wearing. My goal is to look nice and be comfortable. What would be my best move preparing for being part of a wedding that's being planned completely outside my realm of knowledge?

Try to find out what the mother of the bride will be wearing and then coordinate colors and level of formality with her dress.

Those TN mountains are an awesome place for a wedding! Enjoy.
