     MoB: what color to wear???

My daugther's wedding is coming up Jan. 22 and I don't know what to wear. Her bridemaids are in black and white. So what color should I look for???? It is a late evening wedding, with a dinner and dance to follow.

The MoG hasn't gotten her dress yet.

Dear What to Wear,

A black dress in the same formality of the attendants would be wonderful. Of course, some sort of dress with black and white in it would be suitable also. Your dress is supposed to accent the bride and attendant's dresses. The MOG is supposed to ask you what you are wearing and coordinate her outfit with yours.

Best wishes,

A classic black evening dress will be elegant for the wedding, since her bridesmaids will be in black/white.

You could wear a black dress with a sheer white shawl, or just a plain black dress with white pearls.

Or, if you prefer, you could wear a white/ivory dress, but for a late evening wedding, black would be more elegant.
