We will be getting married on the beach in March. What style and color dress should mother of the groom wear? My 2 bridesmaids will be wearing royal blue and the groomsmen wll be wearing khakis & a royal blue shirt. If you can give me any suggestions I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks a million...

We have many, many posts about this. It may be best to read them. But, for now--if there is a MOB, the MOG would dress in the same formality as her without dressing more formal than her. The color of her dress should blend with the MOB and bridesmaids. If there is no MOB, then she would dress in the same formality as them or slightly less and the color of her dress would compliment theirs. She should not wear red or anything too bright and her dress should be conservative--no strapless dresses.
