My son is getting mariied in the beginning of October. It is an evening wedding. I just found out that the mother of the bride just purchased a silk pant suit to wear for the wedding. She said that she never wears dresses. Now, I have no idea what type of dress I should wear. I was planning on wearing a gown. She is 5'10'' and I am 5'1''.

Dear BSOBEL,
You could wear any dress as long as it is in the same formality as her pant suit. Her's could be formal. It may be best to ask for a picture or to see it. Try to blend with her colors and avoid red.
